This is a type of formulation whose structure responds, in an outstanding way, to the contribution of carbonates and long chain lipids, which allow, by comet metabolism, the contribution of an alternative source of net energy for the bacteria to the one they find in their environment.

In pools or in controlled open sea cages, it allows an extraordinary nitrifying colonisation, which considerably accelerates the degradation or solubilisation of organic matter, resulting in a very significant nutrient for the bottom of the environment itself.

The capacity for nitrification and nitration, as aerobic conversion of ammonia, is one of the most important functions in an aquaculture system, as it reduces the toxicity of the water for the fish, and allows the resulting nitrate compounds to be removed by the plants in their nutrition, in case they want to obtain an agronomic value. The fish, as a product of its own metabolism, is constantly evacuating ammonia through its faeces, in the form of ammoniacal nitrogen, or from its gills in respiration. Large concentrations of ammonia can kill fish. Thus, increasing the populations of Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacteria through ‘colonial’ biostimulation processes of these can convert ammonia into other nitrogenous compounds that are healthy for the environment, resulting in a better state of the environment (water), and therefore less stress, more available oxygen and lower mortality rates, even less cannibalism, resulting in better and higher growth of the hatchery in general.

From the current scientific literature, we can obtain studies in which we determine that an abundant colonisation of ‘Gram +’, or what is the same in our case of nitrifying and nitrating, can ‘literally’ make the space of the ‘pathogenic’ colonies give way by competition in favour of these colonies stimulated with our product. This behaviour, which can occur both in the environment itself and in the host’s digestive tract, would provide a NATURAL and ECOLOGICAL solution to the enormous problem that hatchery, nursery or farmed fish are suffering in the open sea or in ponds or pools.
